Veterans Honored in South Mississippi, Across US

MOSS POINT -- Veterans in Moss Point, Gautier, Pascagoula and the rest of South Mississippi and the nation were honored this week in celebration of Veterans Day on Nov. 11, which was observed officially on Monday, Nov. 12.

USSVI Tullibee Base of Mississippi is a submarine veterans group. Meetings are held the fourth Saturday of each month, except November and December, at 11:00 a.m. at the Biloxi Yacht Club. All Submarine veterans and their spouses may attend. Herb Edmonds is treasurer.
